Day 1 of the 8 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari to Samburu National Reserve: Drive from Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve & do an evening game drive

Transfer from your place of stay in Nairobi after breakfast at 0630hrs for Samburu National Reserve – an arid landscape home to rare wildlife species such as Grevy Zebra, Gerenuk, Antelope, Oryx, Reticulated Giraffe and a collection of other mammals. You drive through the fertile farmlands en route with pineapple plantations and fertile farmlands before arriving in the park. Check in at the lodge, settle for lunch and later embark on the afternoon game drive at 16:00hrs.

Day 2 of the 8 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari to Samburu National Reserve: Extensive game drive in Samburu National Reserve

Undertake an extensive game drive in the beautiful landscapes of Samburu National Reserve starting at 6:30am.  During the game drive, you gain possibilities of exploring exciting wild game including; Oryx, Grevy’s Zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, Tanzanian Cheetah, Lion, leopard, Buffalo among others.  Samburu National Reserve is also home to 350 bird species.  Enjoy the amazing time by the pool during the day and engage in another game drive in the evening.

Day 3 of the 8 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari to Samburu National Reserve:  Drive from Samburu to Aberdare National Park & spend the afternoon at leisure with the wild game views from the lodge

Set off at 7am for the transfer to Aberdare National Park – the home to the range bongo species, incredible Aberdare ranges and the 300m waterfall. Arrive at the base hotel, settle for lunch after which you will transfer to the tree hotel where you will spend the entire afternoon viewing wildlife at the comfort of your hotel.

Day 4 of the 8 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari to Samburu National Reserve:  Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, do birding and game drive

Following breakfast, connect to the Base Hotel and the vehicle from where you transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park –  a famous fresh water lake with over two (2) million Flamingos along with 450 species of birds. The park is also home to Black Rhino, White Rhino, Rothschild Giraffe among other animals which will make your stay worthwhile. The afternoon game drive commences at 16:00hrs.

Day 5 of the 8 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari to Samburu National Reserve: Drive from Nakuru National Park to Maasai Mara National Reserve & do game drive

Set off at 0700hrs after breakfast for Maasai Mara Game Reserve – one of the Africa’s most spectacular protected areas.   It’s remarkable savannah landscapes shelter great wildlife counts including the Big five (Lions, Leopard, Rhino, Elephant and Buffalo), Cheetah, Wildebeest, Zebra, Gazelles among others.  You check in at the lodge, settle for lunch and do an afternoon game drive starting at 16:00hrs.

Day 6 of the 8 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari to Samburu National Reserve: Extensive game drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve

Engage in an extensive wild game viewing in the morning to explore the amazing wild game of Maasai Mara National Reserve. You can opt to carry packed lunch and enjoy a picnic experience or return for hot lunch at the lodge. In the evening, you can opt for a cultural tour to the Maasai village to explore their great traditions.

Day 7 of the 8 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari to Samburu National Reserve: Another day of game drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve

This is dedicated for more wild game viewing and the game drive activity will be carried both in the morning and in the afternoon.

Day 8 of the 8 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari to Samburu National Reserve: Game drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve in the morning & transfer to Nairobi

Undertake another game drive starting at 6:30hrs to gain chances of exploring more wild game, return to the lodge for breakfast and later transfer back to Nairobi. Make a stop en route at the view point to explore the fascinating views of the Great Rift Valley.
