Day 1 of the 12 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari to Samburu National Reserve: Depart Nairobi for Samburu National Reserve

Transfer from your place of stay in Nairobi after breakfast at 0630hrs for Samburu National Reserve – an arid landscape home to rare wildlife species such as Grevy Zebra, Gerenuk, Antelope, Oryx, Reticulated Giraffe and a collection of other mammals. You drive through the fertile farmlands en route with pineapple plantations and fertile farmlands before arriving in the park. Check in at the lodge, settle for lunch and later embark on the afternoon game drive at 16:00hrs.

Day 2 of the 12 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari to Samburu National Reserve:  Extensive game drive in Samburu National Reserve

Undertake an extensive game drive in the beautiful landscapes of Samburu National Reserve starting at 6:30am.  During the game drive, you gain possibilities of exploring exciting wild game including; Oryx, Grevy’s Zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, Tanzanian Cheetah, Lion, leopard, Buffalo among others.  Samburu National Reserve is also home to 350 bird species.  Enjoy the amazing time by the pool during the day and engage in another game drive in the evening.

Day 3 of the 12 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari to Samburu National Reserve:  Depart Samburu to Aberdare National Park, spend the afternoon at leisure enjoying the views of wild game from the lodge

Set off at 7am for the transfer to Aberdare National Park – the home to the range bongo species, incredible Aberdare ranges and the 300m waterfall. Arrive at the base hotel, settle for lunch after which you will transfer to the tree hotel where you will spend the entire afternoon viewing wildlife at the comfort of your hotel.

Day 4 of the 12 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari to Samburu National Reserve: Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park for birding & game drive

Following breakfast, connect to the Base Hotel and the vehicle from where you transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park –  a famous fresh water lake with over two (2) million Flamingos along with 450 species of birds. The park is also home to Black Rhino, White Rhino, Rothschild Giraffe among other animals which will make your stay worthwhile. The afternoon game drive commences at 16:00hrs.

Day 5 of the 12 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari to Samburu National Reserve: Drive to Maasai Mara National Reserve & engage in an afternoon game drive

Set off at 0700hrs after breakfast for Maasai Mara Game Reserve – one of the Africa’s most spectacular protected areas.   It’s remarkable savannah landscapes shelter great wildlife counts including the Big five (Lions, Leopard, Rhino, Elephant and Buffalo), Cheetah, Wildebeest, Zebra, Gazelles among others.  You check in at the lodge, settle for lunch and do an afternoon game drive starting at 16:00hrs.

Day 6 of the 12 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari to Samburu National Reserve: Extensive game drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve

Engage in an extensive wild game viewing in the morning to explore the amazing wild game of Maasai Mara National Reserve. You can opt to carry packed lunch and enjoy a picnic experience or return for hot lunch at the lodge. In the evening, you can opt for a cultural tour to the Maasai village to explore their great traditions.

Day 7 of the 12 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari to Samburu National Reserve: Another day of game drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve

This is dedicated for more wild game viewing and the game drive activity will be carried both in the morning and in the afternoon.

Day 8 of the 12 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari to Samburu National Reserve: Drive to Amboseli National Park via Nairobi, sightseeing en route & evening game drive to the lodge

Engage in another game drive for more wild game viewing and impressive photoshoots, return to the lodge for breakfast after which you transfer to Amboseli National Park driving via Nairobi where you will also make a stop for lunch. Proceed on the drive to Amboseli National Park with great views of Kilimanjaro Mountain in the back yard. Enjoy an evening game drive upon arrival.

Day 9 of the 12 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari to Samburu National Reserve: Extensive game drive in Amboseli National Park

This is dedicated for an extensive wild game viewing experience in Amboseli National Park. The game drive starts at 6:30hrs offering great possibilities of viewing the famous free ranging elephants of Amboseli that pound the dust during the dry season, Cape Buffalos, Lions, Impala, Cheetah, Maasai Giraffe, Spotted Hyenas among others. The view of Kilimanjaro Mountain is also rewarding. Return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch. In the afternoon, you will engage in another game drive starting at 1600hrs.

Day 10 of the 12 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari to Samburu National Reserve:  Early morning game drive & transfer to Tsavo West National Park & do game drive

Engage in another early morning game drive starting at 6:30hrs, return to the lodge for breakfast after which you embark on the transfer to Tsavo West National Park.  You are introduced to this expanse protected area and home to a range of wild game, birds and the impressive natural features such as The Five Sister hills, Roaring Rocks, Mzima Springs, Shetani Lava Flow, Chyullu Hills and Ngulia Mountain.   You check in at the lodge, settle for lunch and later embark on the afternoon game drive starting at 1600hrs.

Day 11 of the 12 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari to Samburu National Reserve: A day of game drive in Tsavo West National Park

Undertake an early morning game drive starting at 0630hrs in search of wildlife, return later to the lodge and spend the day time at leisure relaxing by the pool. Another game drive starts off at 1600hrs for more wildlife sights.

Day 12 of the 12 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari to Samburu National Reserve: Morning game drive in Tsavo West & transfer back to Nairobi
